Welcome to Guildford & District Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue!
Guildford and District Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue are a charity aiming to rehome Staffordshire Bull
Terriers in and around the Guildford (Surrey) area. Please take a look around our website and meet some of our
dogs who are desparately in need of a new home.
Hi to all,
We have the results of our photo competition and we have to say you have done us proud! What a soppy lot you are far madder than we had
expected or dared to hope! If you remember the idea behind the competition was to gather some really good photos to use in posters to
promote the rescue and we now have some wonderful photos we can't wait to use. All 1st prize winners can be assured we will use your photo
in a poster, we hope to be able to show you the finished posters on the website and maybe make it so you can download them.
If you are a 1st prize winner if you email me your address with postcode I will send you a voucher for Pets At Home by way of an extra prize. Thank you.
We have been looking into the food we feed our dogs and taking advice from a behaviourist who has researched this over many years. The result is that
James Wellbeloved dried food is the one we recommend which should be fed dry. We also recommend Pets at Home Wainrights variety. The dried food is
their version of James Wellbeloved and is very similar and quite a bit cheaper. They also make tins of Wainrights and trays should you want to mix in
some wet food. All these are hypoallergenic and have no artificial additives. We suggest you feed nothing else not even biscuits or bonios. Staffords
are prone to certain skin conditions and tend to be "hyper" they do not need any E numbers. Manufacturers of pet foods are not required to state
what is in the food. This is our recommendation to all our owners.
Wishing you all a good summer.
Alison.
